MATCH PREVIEW
DELHI DAREDEVILS
Although the change of captaincy brought about a change in the fortunes of Delhi Daredevils, it did not last long. The Daredevils have no one but themselves to blame for the chances they dropped in the previous match.
Struggling with poor form, Glenn Maxwell was sent to open the innings along with Prithvi Shaw in a bid to change things around. While Shaw continued to strike the ball like he did in the last match and looked in pristine touch, Glenn Maxwell had a long walk back to the pavilion due to an unlucky runout. Maxwell has looked completely out of sorts this year and to add insult to injury, he could not hold onto the chance to grab Alex Hales at the deep square leg. A chance he'd take nine times out of ten.
Delhi Daredevils did not waste any time in rebuilding the innings after the failed experiment as Prithvi Shaw smacked bowlers all around the ground. Shreyas Iyer, in the meantime, got settled and played a vital role in an 86-run stand with Prithvi Shaw before the former got out.
In a quest to up the ante and score, a humongous total, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, and Naman Ojha all departed in quick succession and the Daredevils ended with just 163 runs on the board despite a rocking start.
The inexperience of Shreyas Iyer was apparent when he did not bring on Glenn Maxwell even when the wicket was assisting the spinners and Avesh Khan was taken for plenty of runs. Trent Boult was impressive at the start of the innings and Liam Plunkett did well to check the flow of runs in the middle overs with his neat spell. The Daredevils could have turned it around when Amit Mishra picked up two quick wickets, but for the poor fielding and some strange decision, they had only themselves to blame.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD
Against the usual trend of chasing in this IPL, the Sunrisers Hyderabad are racking up brilliant bowling performances of scoring low and limiting the opposition for an even lower total. After the jaw-dropping defenses of 132, 118, and 151, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to defend a modest total of 151 against the side having two of the best T20 batsmen, Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Prior to their game against RCB, Alex Hales had been spectacular at the top of the order, but against RCB, he departed quickly which had Kane Williamson at the crease in a familiar situation. Shikhar Dhawan and Manish Pandey followed in quick succession to leave the Sunrisers in a state of bother. Doing what he's been doing best so far in the IPL, Kane Williamson started rebuilding the innings by knocking the ball around and hitting the big ones in between. Shakib Al Hasan contributed well with his 32-ball 35.
Defending a target which appeared to be a walk in the park for the star-studded RCB lineup, Sunrisers Hyderabad started off well. Shakib Al Hasan got rid of dangerous looking Parthiv Patel in the third over. Things were looking bright for RCB after the 7th over with 60 for 1 before Manan Vohra was bowled by Sandeep Sharma.
RCB started with their famous strangle job as they got rid of Shakib and AB de Villiers in quick succession. Mandeep Singh and Colin de Grandhomme kept RCB well within the game with 26 required off the last 21 deliveries, but some excellent death bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Siddarth Kaul allowed them to defend yet another low total.
Sunrisers have been excellent with the ball and the Daredevils have already been on the receiving end. Not long ago, the Daredevils suffered a heartbreaking loss at the hand of the Sunrisers and with Bhuvneshwar Kumar already up and running, Sunrisers will be a tough team to beat.

TOSS PREDICTION
Sunrisers have defended well in the season, but having already made it to the playoffs, they might well try chasing on a ground where conditions aren't expected to change much. Delhi Daredevils will prefer to chase as has been the case in the competition so far.
PITCH AND CONDITIONS
The pitch at Feroz Shah Kotla used to be a spinners paradise not long ago. In this tournament, it's been a superb pitch to bat on and we've already witnessed scores above and in the vicinity of 200. While the pitch is expected to assist a little to the spinners, it is still going to be a batting paradise with the scores of 180-190 to be a par total here.
OUR PREDICTION
The Daredevils were knocked out and left heartbroken after a defeat in their previous match and will be playing for pride in their upcoming game. The Sunrisers, on the other hand, have been excellent and will be looking to cement their spot in the top two. Sunrisers' bowling is unparalleled and with Kane Williamson in such fine form, they go into the match as firm favorites.
OUR PREDICTION
Sunrisers Hyderabad To Win the Match
